We are required to determine our school admission arrangements annually and, as an Academy, we are required to carry out a consultation if changes are proposed to our current admissions criteria.

We are proposing to make the following change to our Admissions Criteria for the September 2026 Year 7 intake:

• Removal of the requirement to complete a fair banding test
• Change to the priority given to a sibling link from Criterion 5 to Criterion 4
• An increase to the number of children accepted from a Hatton Academies Trust Primary School from 80 places to 136
• Inclusion of traditional link schools in Criterion 6, giving them priority over ‘other’ applicants

The consultation period starts on Monday 11^th November 2024 and finishes at 4:00pm on Sunday 29^th December 2024.  Any comments can be made to admissions@hattonacademy.org.uk throughout the consultation period.
