Welcome to Sir Christopher Hatton Academy we are an independent non denominational Academy providing comprehensive education for boys and girls aged 11 to 18, based in the market town of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

We are incredibly proud that Hatton is the highest performing secondary school in Northamptonshire and in the top 1% of schools nationally for the progress 8 measure 2018-19.  We are rated by Ofsted as OUTSTANDING and have the official World Class School accolade.  In addition to this we are helping to lead and inspire the education system as the lead school in the Hatton Teaching School Alliance.

Our mission is to develop the potential of all students, both in the classroom and outside by 'aiming for excellence' in all that we do'.  If a student is encouraged to believe that they can achieve their full potential, they often do!  This concept underpins every aspect of student life at Hatton.
