Sir Christopher Hatton has consistently been the top performing Secondary school in Northamptonshire for Progress 8. This measure is used to reflect the progress that students make throughout their time at Secondary school.
In 2021 more than a third of students who applied to Universities obtained a place at the prestigious Russell Group of Universities, and many also commenced apprenticeships.
In 2019 we were delighted to announce Sir Christopher Hatton was positioned as first in the Wellingborough area, first within Northamptonshire and within the top 1% of all schools nationally with a progress 8 score of 1.
This measure indicates that students at Sir Christopher Hatton on average achieve 1 grade higher in every GCSE they completed when compared to the national average. Students leave Sir Christopher Hatton with the best possible grades which enables them to access the many opportunities that lie ahead of them
In 2022, the Academy had another successful year, our students made significantly more progress and the grades they obtained are above the average for all schools nationally.
